Lancome has recruited Taylor Hill as its new brand ambassador. The 20-year-old American model/actress just made her debut in the film The Neon Demon by Nicolas Winding Refn.

Hill – who is also a Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ –  has been featured in campaigns and runway shows for a few of the most famous fashion houses. She has also worked with renowned photographers that include including Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott – the duo in charge of Lancôme visuals for the past three years.

Aside from the above experience, Lancome says the brand wanted hill because she “personifies the Millennial.” She has a rock chic style that exudes self-confidence, and Lancome says she is a role model “for a generation of energetic free spirits who follow her on Snapchat and Instagram.” Hill has more than 4 million followers on social media.

Françoise Lehmann, Lancôme’s International general manager, explains, “We are delighted about this new collaboration with Taylor, who represents a modern Lancôme, in harmony with its time, with a subtle mix of sensuality, ingenuousness and sweet yet striking beauty. She is a very inspiring young woman for her generation: she is immensely curious, open-minded and has a positive outlook on life.”
